John Hodges Dies at 14

WILLIMANTIC (Special)

John W. Hodges, 14, died Tuesday at Windham Community Memorial Hospital. Born July 26 , 1947 in Providence, R.I., he was the son of C. Prescott Hodges and Jennie (Chatto) Hodges of Columbia.
He was a freshman at Windham High School and a member of the Columbia Congregational Church.
Besides his parents, he leaves one sister, Elizabeth Ann Hodges of Columbia and his maternal grandfather, John R. Chatto of Warwick, R.I.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Columbia Congregational Church with the Rev. George K. Evans officiating.
Burial will be in the Center Cemetery, Columbia. There will be no calling hours. Friends who wish may contribute to the American Cancer Society. The Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St, is in charge of arrangements.
