Obituary
Mary Ann (Naumec) Desrosiers, 63, of Ashford died, Thursday, (September 15, 2011) at St. Francis Hospital. She was born in Windham, Daughter of John Naumec of Columbia and the late Mary (Sorokolit) Naumec and had lived in Willimantic and Barkhamsted before moving to Ashford. Mary Ann was a case worker for the Department of Social Security for over 40 years. She was Mrs. Claus on the Essex Steam Train for over 10 years, and she worked as a fund raiser for the National Federation of the Blind of CT. Besides her father, she is survived by her daughter, Cordigen des Rosiers of Somerville, MA., two grandchildren, Alexandrea and Liam des Rosiers and her siblings.
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 24, 2011, 1 p.m. in St. Patrick's Church, 7 Burlington Ave. Collinsville. Friends may call Friday, 9/23/2011, 6 to 8 p.m. at The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home. 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield.
