Obituary

Carl M. Hansen, 71, of Bradenton, FL, passed away August 24, 2019. Born in Willimantic, CT, he moved to Bradenton in 2001 from CT. Carl was a Veteran of the National Guard and he was a WW II Military History Collector. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda (Hawkins) Hansen; two sons, Ryan (Tammy) Hansen and Eric (Tracy) Hansen and five grandchildren; Tyler, Casey, Tyler, Olivia, and Adam. He is also survived by two brothers, Daniel (Joanne) Hansen and Guy (Pat) Hansen. He is predeceased by his parents, Leroy and Irene (Marrotte) Hansen and his sister Sandra (Hansen) Chalifoux.There will be no local Services at this time. There will be a Celebration of Life October 6, 2019 at the Mansfield Hollow State Park Pavillon between 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers and to honor Carl’s love of family and veterans, donations may be made to Fisher House Foundation, Inc at fisherhouse.org.
